Feltex Fehrer (Pty) Ltd. was established when Feltex sold 26% of its Foam Mouldings division's shares to leading international foam mouldings manufacturer Fehrer of Germany.
Feltex Fehrer manufactures moulded polyurethane products to international specifications and quality standards. The Feltex Fehrer product range includes automotive seat pads, armrests, headrests, wire frames, listing wires, suspension aid buffers, as well as in situ headrests, panels and armrests.

Feltex Fehrer introduced world class In Situ technology for the production of automotive headrests, arm rests and bolsters. This was made possible through a licence and supply agreement with Johnson Controls, one of the world's largest independent suppliers of automotive interior systems.
In Situ technology enables Feltex Fehrer to manufacture complicated headrest shapes. The traditional method of pulling a cover over a foam headrest core is eliminated and covers can therefore be produced in a variety of shapes and sizes. The covers are placed into a mould and liquid foam is then injected into them. A chemical reaction takes place which enables the foam to grow and harden producing a perfectly formed headrest.
Feltex Fehrer is continually assessing new areas for expansion. It will actively pursue any viable opportunity which falls within its technical ability.
