Feltex Fehrer is a joint venture between F.S. Fehrer Automotive GmbH (49%) and KAP Automotive (Pty) Ltd (51%). Utilising advanced cold cure and hot cure production technologies, Feltex Fehrer produces high-quality seat pads using MDI and TDI chemistries, as well as other pour-in-place applications.

Polyurethane Flexible Foam (PUR)

Polyurethane flexible foam (PUR) is the number one seat pad material for vehicle seats, thanks to its excellent physical properties and flexibility. Feltex Fehrer manufactures PUR foams using its own formulations, ensuring that crucial customer criteria density, hardness, cell structure, suspension characteristics, and shock absorption are achieved.

Moulded seat pads are a core component of a seat, providing the direct and closest connection between the passenger and the car. The design and comfort level of these seat pads contribute significantly to the personality of the vehicle model and convey quality to the passenger.
